Aust stocks slightly higher at noon =4 Sydney

Tech stocks were slightly up with Solution 6 gaining 10 cents to $3.15, Sausage up
10.2 cents to $2.58 and LibertyOne steady at 23 cents.

The gold index was down 13.3 points at 744.3 with Newcrest losing six cents to $4.12,
Lihir losing three cents to 75 cents and Normandy losing two cents to $1.03.

At 1326 AEST the national turnover was 312.81 million shares traded for $725.02 million
with 591 rises, 570 falls and 408 stocks steady.

In Tokyo the Nikkei was down 39 points at 15775 and in New Zealand the NZSE 40 lost
3.5 points to 2127.6.
